A few of the Mentors Who Have Inspired me . . .
Jack Canfield, (left) America’s #1 Success Coach, author of The Success Principles, and co-author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series, The Aladdin Factor, and The Power of Focus. Having already met his partner, Mark Victor Hansen, (right) twenty years prior, I was grateful to enjoy his inspiring stories and concepts during his presentation and having lunch with him at the Women Inspiring Women annual conference in Manchester, NH. The Chicken Soup for the Soul Series continues to inspire and comfort countless individuals to dream big and be resilient!
Michael Gerber, author of over 20 business books including the popular E-myth series for entrepreneurs in a variety of industries! Here at 80 years young and still presenting his ground breaking myth busting concepts 30 years later at the 2016 WPN UNconference in Orlando, FL!

Wow, two of my favorite mentors together!
What can I say about the magnificent personal development mogul, Louise Hay, that has not already been said?
Cheryl Richardson (sitting) is a much-loved, popular coach and the New York Times best-selling author of Take Time for Your Life, Life Makeovers, Stand Up for Your Life, The Unmistakable Touch of Grace, The Art of Extreme Self-Care, and her most recent book, You Can Create an Exceptional Life (co-authored with Louise Hay).
Cheryl was the team leader for the Lifestyle Makeover Series on The Oprah Winfrey Show and accompanied Ms. Winfrey on the Live Your Best Life nationwide tour.
As one of Cheryl’s Life Makeover facilitators, I was thrilled to welcome her to Maine. She was the first president of the International Coaching Federation founded by Thomas Leonard, the president of CoachU, where I trained as a coach (see below).
Susanna Liller, Author of Circle Power and fellow member of the Maine Women’s Network, a non-profit organization founded in 2001 to connect women from Kittery to Fort Kent and provide valuable education through monthly networking meetings and annual statewide events with high-caliber speakers and meaningful networking opportunities. There are currently three chapters: Androscoggin, Midcoast, and Portland. I was co-chair of the Androscoggin chapter and grateful to gather with so many creative women who positively helped shape their communities.
Thomas J Leonard, one of the pioneers of the coaching field, who founded Coach U in 1992, one of the first coaching programs in the US. He is the founder of the International Coaching Federation (1994), author of many books, including “The Portable Coach”, and a fellow CPA.
I was fortunate enough to graduate from Coach U’s two-year program in 1996, and met Thomas on his tour through Framingham, MA, when he brought his coaching concepts to life. I had the opportunity to discuss the connection between building a positive net worth for business and a positive self-worth in one’s personal life.
